Organization Name

Aniwo Co., Ltd

Overview

Aniwo is based in both Israel and Japan, with its headquarters located in Tel Aviv. Our main business is matching high-growth Israeli start-ups with corporations from around the world. In addition, we organize and hold business events called “PitchTokyo” in Tokyo with the aim of accelerating the creation of business ties between Japan and Israel.

Details

Aniwo was founded in Israel in 2014 after receiving an investment from the world’s first Japanese-made venture capital firm. With two offices located in Israel (Tel-Aviv) and Japan (Tokyo), Aniwo developed and operates “Million Time” a matching service aimed at connecting venture firms (start-ups) with investors and large corporations, and successfully helped facilitate the creation of numerous business connections and investments.

Aniwo provides its consulting business to a great variety of clients, while makes use of its business network and expertise in the Israeli eco-system. Aniwo has more than 100 clients from a wide range of fields such as electrical appliances, cyber security, IT, advertising, health care and lifestyle, consulting firms, national university corporations, and many more. We aim to realize our corporate mission of “Innovation for your smile” by matching Israeli-born innovation and cutting-edge technology with the Japanese corporations who seek it.

In 2016, Aniwo invited Sachio Semmoto, the founder of KDDI and Y-mobile as a senior corporate advisor to strengthen its management team. Every year more than 1,000 new high-tech start-ups are born in Israel, and more than 300 global technological giants such as google, Microsoft, Apple, Intel and Samsung are proactively investing and conducting joint research along with Israeli local firms to riveting results. In March 2020, Aniwo launched Axelnode, an exclusive recruiting platform for start-ups that specializes in in-network referrals (similar to **Referral recruiting programs). The current version 1.1 is live in Israel. The platform allows start-ups to secure quality human resources, which are indispensable for their success, thus supporting those start-ups in achieving their corporate goals and another support activity that furthers our corporate goal.

※Israel takes pride in having the largest number of start-ups per capita, and the highest percentage of GPD invested in R&D and start-ups in the world.

※※Referral recruiting program: A method of recruiting new human resources through the introduction of existing company employees. It allows obtaining credible, high quality human resources for a cost that is much lower than that of recruitment agents or other existing methods. This method is being rapidly adopted by companies throughout the world and especially in the United States and Europe.

(About Pitch Tokyo)

Since 2015, Aniwo has been holding the “Pitch Tokyo” events in Tokyo, with the aim of accelerating the creation of business ties between Israel and Japan through sharing of the latest information from Israel and business pitches conducted by entrepreneurs.

We introduce business pitches from Israeli start-ups according to topics that change each session. In the past, we’ve conducted sessions that focused on a variety of topics such as Fintech, AI, Cyber Security, IoT, Mobility, Braintech, AR/VR,Digital Health, Chemical, Edtech and other topics, and had representatives from more than 100 start-up companies from these fields take the podium. For the 2019-2020 Pitch Tokyo season, we received a yearly sponsorship from The Japan Research Institute Ltd., and plan to further increase the awareness to Israeli start-ups in Japan.
